Hi Jim, Well this next class is indeed a Level I class, but we do find that people with a background in Spanish finds this course very useful. It gives structure to what they already know and much of our class time is spent with interactive exercises between partners that involves nothing but speaking to each other in Spanish. If you like you can come and monitor the first class to see if it might suit you. The next class I teach will not be until mid March. I am returning to Sam Miguel to become certified to teach Level II which is structured around the use of the preterite tense and is fairly challenging so a good background and a confident grasp of Level I is important.
