The Central de salud is having a garage sale fundraiser to raise funds for operating costs and to help make the building more secure so that the female doctor can live there. Operating costs include a cleaning person for 3 days a week 2-3 hours a day for $150 pesos a week. Light bulbs that are burned out, water pump that needs fixing. Security includes a metal door and bars on a few of the windows in the back and a proposal for those costs is forthcoming. If you have items to donate to the garage sale or if you'd like to make a financial contribution you can do so with Perla Diaz, the president of the committee to support the Central de Salud. Perla's office is behind the church, her numbers are TEL 351- 57-07 Y CEL. 315 108-18-83 The doctors official hours are 9-2 and 4-7 for consult and 24 hours a day for emergencies. The doctor's phone numbers are TELS. 351 51 17 CEL. 315 109 28 26. The doctor has every other weekend officially off. Jan 26- she will be in a meeting, emergencies only, no consulting hours. Jan 27- she will be in La Huerta Jan 31- she will be giving vaccines at the primary school from 10:30-12:00 Her official days off in February are: 5 Y 6, 7 and 19 Y 20. |
