Hola Phil - my husband and I host a jam session every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month - Feb 8 and Feb 22 - at our place in La Manzanilla. I can offer you a guitar to play at the jam sessions - however, I need it during the other times as I am teaching guitar lessons and also doing a few gigs. We play Celtic music primarily but at the jam sessions, there is a variety of music played - folk, country, blues, gospel, old rock n roll, etc. We put up posters around the town with a map of directions and we also put up signs on the day. Here's the info from the poster: Acoustic Jam Sessions Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Location: 179 Calle Manglares Directions: Turn uphill at Palapa Joes, go past the Art Gallery, the road jogs, (turn left and immediately right) and keep going uphill, next street to the left is Calle Manglares (same street as the Community Garden). We are the second house on the right - green and beige wall with iron gates. Come along and meet other musicians, sing a long, or sit and listen! All ages and all levels welcome to join in!
