I am reminded of the Terry Allen song, "Give Me a Ride to Heaven," wherein he picks up a Jesus-like hitchhiker, gets car jacked, and ends the song with

"Well the Lord moves in mysterious ways,
and tonight, my son, he's gonna use your car..."
