I have flown our dog with Alaska many times and have always had the certificate from the vet. However I have never had to show it. All they have ever done is ask me if I had it and when I said yes they just accept it. However for the small amount to get one from the vet I would make sure I get it. Murpy's law says that the one time you don't have it that will be the time they want to see it. Who the H--L is Murpy anyway?
