I have been robbed twice and had video cameras both times. The 1st time they just wore bandanna's over there face so you couldn’t see them. The second time they took the cameras and recorder. The only thing that will deter them is a motion sensor in your home hooked up to a very loud siren one inside and one outside. Then let your neighbors know about the siren and what to do if it goes off. Usually they will run as soon as it goes off. Sorry this happened to you Marcia. It's just a really bad feeling of just plain being violated on top of losing your stuff.
