This has always been a somewhat controversial subject.

Back in the day (or was it the night?) I drove the yellow Jeep back from Boca on the beach almost
every time I did a real estate tour. I can't seem to remember the distance on the odometer,
nor was I sure if the odometer was accurate to begin with.

Someone needs to drive (or use one of those walking wheel things) the full length,
end to end, rocks to rocks. Make a party out of it, drink and drive down on the hard sand at
low tide and write down the odometer start / stop.
