But...while the time experience may vary from person to person (part of the Corralejo Effect)
the distance does remain the same.

The formula would hold if Corralejo consumed per 800 meters remained constant i.e. did not
change as the time to cover 800 meters actually increased or was perceived to increase.
These long treks take discipline and experience.
