Huge ocean swirls

Right this minute in front of Lety's Guacamole Restaurant, a huge dark swirl is happening. It's frothing! At first I thought it was a type of spiral undertow, but now think it's a furious swarm of fish. This, I've deduced, by extreme powers of insight, namely the hundreds and hundreds of sea birds gathered along the shore also in front of Lety's Guacamole. Anyone have a better vantage point observation?
