From this distance, Villalobos appears to have a supportable position.

I am not close to the issue, but if there is substantial truth to what he says, I am having a hard time finding fault with his position (even if I don't like it).

I think what Roden(t)as is saying is that they have held title "for 38 years," and that anyone who bought lots on "their" land did not do their due diligence to ascertain that the title they were receiving was actually associated with the property they bought.

This seems plausible to me because "everyone" knows that there are title issues on Tena lots, which is why they sold much cheaper than comparable lots anywhere else on the Costa Alegre. The clouded title also might reflect the lack of infrastructure (construction) on this superlative section of the coast.

What am I missing?
