Thank you, Sylvia, for your input.

I have collected my thoughts a little, and the word I am trying to work into a sentence is "shell game." I think what Villalobos is saying is that buyers were shown gorgeous lots, and given title to other less desirable lots. What I think he is saying is that the titles are valid, but they are not for the beach lots that the owners believe they bought.

Obviously, I have no way of knowing whether that is really his assertion, or whether it is a true assertion.

I agree wholeheartedly that undermining title in Tena would make all titles suspect. But I return to the idea that titles have "always" been suspect in Tena. This according to my wife's family, who have been camping there since the 70s.

I am throwing this out there not to argumentive, but because I would like to be shown wrong.
