There were massive schools of fish in front Playa Grande beach in Arroyo Seco yesterday --- parts of the ocean were black with huge schools of small fish.

Then some big fish drove them right up on to the beach in the waves and they were stranded on land. We scooped them up and threw them back. A lot of them survived and swam off.

Don't know what was up, but we saw it too. Amazing.
