Reality check: we all know that it is actually spelled Guadalajara. Enjoy your trip and do visit the cathedral and spend a day in Tlaquepaque walking around. Be sure to visit the Bustamante gallery there, world famous for his art and deserving a look see. Enjoy your trip.
