Good for the economy? You mean that instead of running their own businesses they can work for someone else? Do you mean instead of the Mexican style accomodation and food they can cater to American taste? Where will the Mexicans go on their holidays if Tenacatita is privatized? Besides that, the day of the big tourist, mega complex is over. Most of them (especially in that area of the coast) are sitting empty. In fact, the biggest economic factor has to do with drugs and money laundering. The only thing a big development will bring is obnoxious tourists, drug trafficing and crime. Maybe you'll get a bank machine. I don't think anyone will know what's what until the paperwork is produced. Lets see the original title, the survey and rcpt. of sale thereafter. Seems to me a little fishy that Villalobos obtained the land so easily and at such a young age. This is the same story all over the world. Its called exploitation of the people, the land and its resources in exchange for jobs that provide no hope for the future.
