The snowbirds did more than build palapas! There are at least a dozen single family homes in this area. Lots were roped off with for sale signs and advertised by commercial realtors for almost 10 years. Where was Villalobos outrage then? Now he offers to furnish our legal fees to sue people that don't have a pot to piss in? The nerve! With a friend like that who would need an enemy? Again, if this belonged to him, why a govt paved road, govt electricity, govt paid property taxes, etc? You know why? Because this is a back door deal with his bed partner the governor. Jobs, what jobs? This is a power trip put on by the powerful. The Costalegre is dotted with abandoned tourist projects. Mexicans don't have the money and Americans are scared for their lives to go there. What a shame, a beach that Mexicans could enjoy without paying thousands of pesos going to rich and powerful who will end up doing nothing with it. This is the kind of behavior that leads to events like you see in Egypt.
