The 8th annual clinic was a great success. Thank you everyone that volunteered from La Manz and from Melaque and Barra. A special thanks to Katherine who worked so hard to get the volunteers organized and arrived everyday at 7:30am even after a fall from her bike, Pam who also came at 7:30 to get recovery organized, Marcia that welcomed the Vets into her home and provided their every need, Diane P. and Anne L. and others that brought great food for all of us while we worked, June for the delicious agua fresca, Diane and Doug for washing those nasty towels and Norma who stayed till the very end each day. A big hug for Jean, Glen, Bryan and Kate who are a giving temporary home to Paloma until her new owner Claire comes back in March and to Laurisa and friends that are taking care of a dog that is recovering from distemper. And yes, 150 dogs and cats went home free of ticks, fleas, worms and the possibility of adding to the millions of unwanted puppies and kittens. Thank you . Thank you .Thank you.
