Resort Policies

As everyone knows we have had a pretty challenging year out here at Boca and there have been some changes that have caused some confusion with regard to our policy concerning visitors. First let me say that we deeply appreciate the support that we have received from many of the residents in and around La Manznailla. And we continue to welcome the general public to come out and enjoy this very special and beautiful place. In fact we have had so many visitors this year, that we have had to adjust some of our policies especially with regard to pool use. Due to the frequent volume of visitors especially to the pool, there was often no room at the pool for homeowners and hotel guests. Since both of these groups are paying for their stay here and expect to be able to use the pool when they wish, it has become necessary to restrict pool use to those homeowners and hotels guests. We tried an on again and off again policy based on occupancy, but it is impossible to monitor. However the bar and restaurant remain available to the public and beach umbrellas and beach lounges are available for rent for the day at $100 pesos. As I mentioned we certainly want to encourage visitors to the resort, but in all fairness to homeowners and hotel guest we must strike an equitable balance on how to service everyone. I hope this clarification is received with understanding and that we will continue to see the visitors we have in the past as we continue to try to work towards continued success here at Boca de Iguanas.

Warmest regards,
