Fiestas El Rebalsito

Fiestas start in El Rebalsito tonight with a dance. Due to the economic situation here, with the beach still closed (Villalobos might say there's public access, but if you live in El Rebalsito you know that's not true).

Friday is the ejido day, Saturday the recibimiento will be given by Blue Bay (Los Angeles Locos) and on Sunday la comunidad extranjera (the gringos) along with Mariano Virgen (who lives in the US now but comes every year to contribute to the fiesta)will be in charge.

As usual there will be toros (bulls) and a dance every night. T-shirts and bumperstickers will be available to help raise funds for legal and other expenses relating to Tenacatita.

We hope many of you will come, to show some solidarity with the people of El Rebalsito and Tenacatita, and to have some fun!
