Learning to See thru Sketching –.. This three morning workshop will be held in La Manzanilla, February 23, 24, 25th (Originally offered at the Mendocino Art Center in Northern California.) Sketching is the first step in image making in any medium. It is the Organizer of thought and feeling--get familiar with the possibilities! We’ll study the basics; how to see, perspective, composition, value, texture and lots more! Learn to have fun, relax, and sketch your world anytime any place. Structured for beginners and improvers, everyone is welcome. Bring an open mind and leave your critic behind! Joanie Marlow has her degree in Art Education and has made her living throughout her life as a professional and commercial artist. Her private works have been shown, sold and enjoyed throughout the U.S. Joanie’s popular classes are known for their informative, relaxed and fun atmosphere.
