Thanks, Maedb, and also to all the others who have responded to me either here on the board or via email. It appears there ARE places out there that could meet my needs. once the folks who own the place where I am now housesitting decide if they'll be coming down next winter, i'll definitely be in touch with each of you. unfortunately, i probably won't know anything definite before september or october.
