There seems to be a dispute going on within BAEJC as to who should have access to the donated money. It seems that some purchases have been made (or not) with some of money donated to the brigade. Noami has asked for reciepts for these purchases and none have been produced. I want to assure you that all of the donations that have been given to me are intact in an account at the Caja Popular here in LaManzanilla.This account is in my name only and will remain so. There is another account to be used for ongoing expenses and that account is in Noamis' name only. I have checked the reciepts for purchases from this account and everything is in order. The Brigade is now associated with Protecction Civil in Melaque where the team members will get continued training and hopefully some financial support. All of the emergency equipment that has been purchased so far is still here and the rent has been paid on the Brigade building here in town. It is my belief that once the team gets reorganized, things will get back to normal. I will try to keep you informed.
