Seems not fair for us to get off so lightly when many in Japan either lost their life or lost their lives. The Tsunami photos and videos I have seen make me respect them even more than I already did. They are like a freight train, the amount of energy behind them is incredible. I just came to realize that its not just a wave, its a wave that is miles in depth. Not wide like across the beach but deep, as in from shore out a mile or more, its one big wave that comes in for a long time, and then repeats. Here are some photos of our mini (thank God) Tsunami The first two show how far out the water went Here is one of how far it came in, and this wasn't the furthest one. One from out on the sand looking back to shore Some of the people watching the waves Getting some help with the boat |
