We're still getting surges in Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta this morning, reversing currents up to 12 to 14 knots, every 5 minutes to 30 minutes --- somewhat unpredictable. Apparently Banderas Bay must be aligned perfectly with all the surge of the waves and there's no place for the water to go to settle down, like a bathtub. At least that's my rudimentary understanding of what's happening. We've heard that there are about 150 boats anchored out, still waiting for it to be safe enough to return to their respective marinas.
