By they way, from what I understand, the police were fast asleep the night the thieves were caught.

In fact, Luke and his father had a very difficult time arousing them and had to go get a Mexican man at Chop Chops to get them up. We had heard that the police were doing night time patrols to help stop the thefts in La Manz. Obviously not.

Luke and his father decided to go out to the crucero to wait for the white truck with the stolen goods, and the police only came along after that.
