Tenacatita Trip

We went to Tenacatita today for snorkelling at the aquarium. Had a very slow response from the police at the gate - took them awhile to come out and acknowledge us. They asked for the ID of the driver and searched our vehicle. When we got to the beach at around 2:30 pm, we were the only people (other than police) on the whole beach.

It was eerie, seeing all the empty spaces where the restaurants used to be.

At the snorkelling beach, it seemed different - a very large ridge of rocks mixed with a lot of coral pieces all along the beach. Lots more dead coral than we remember from last year. The water was very murky as well.
