A las Rocas ayer otra vez! The wind made the surface choppyish, but below was smooth. It continues to get clearer and clearer below water, but not even close to last year.

As I was heading out from Leti's Guacamole, I noticed small orange bobbles not far to my left--holding a fishing net. I watched as I swam out and they continued most of the way to the Rocks, a very long fishnet--not a typical placement. Good thing I hadn't decided to swim to the large Rock, I'd have run into it. But, the Right Rock is my usual goal, as the water there is more like the open Bay.

Water temp near shore, 78.4F and at the Rocks, 77F. On my return, I took tooons of time, swishing and swashing. Then, when I got back to shore, I simply didn't want to leave the water, so stayed in a few hours playing and diving into waves.

Then, as I was driving home to shower, it hit me--I can't leave the playa, it's too beautiful a day. Sooo, to Fiesta Mexicana where I slumped into a canvas chair, ordered a double Pina Colada and took a siesta! Sounds of Marcia, Arlene, Brenda, Richard and other soon to depart migrants, despidiendose, were close behind me.

Ahhh, what a day in La M.
