Do not assume that because you do not see formed turds rolling down the street that there is no shit in any sewer water. Turds break down quickly into ash and grease. Often times locals mix the black and grey waters (often using lots of laundry water) to cover the fact that they are dumping black water in public. The ash residue is the telltale. Again: test tabs prove the source of any suspicious water.
