I would recommend Leaving your Tinaco and Water system "Full" while you leave for several reasons.
Adding a " Bit of Chlorine Bleach " about 250 ml per 1000 liters EACH Month. ( Or drop in some of the slow dissolving granular pucks, Sold as pool supply HTH, If you absolutely cannot get your place checked monthly ) If you have any Plastic PVC lines and they are empty, they can break down quicker, but be aware of Over Chlorinating espically on gaskets and rubber seals in you system.
Its even better if you can get someone to run your system at least a couple of times while your away, and for sure completely flush upon your return.
