Black Water Below

I'd say most buildings have, or have had, their own fosa septica. When they can't keep up they overflow. There are some out in the street but most are under driveways, garages or nearby on the lot.
Most of the effluent soaks directly into the ground.
At the Casa Luz you hit water down about 1-1.5M. I don't show water on the road; it all goes into the ground.
You have to bypass the fosa when you hookup to the sistema municipal if want the slurry to go to Los Ingenios instead of having the effluents enter the water table.
Getting it all out of town, especially down in the flats and along the beach, is a good first step.

I wonder what effect removing ALL the water the town is soaking into the Earth would have with the salt water intrusion.
