That's what Rick said. He paid $300 pesos and got back $150. Time isn't supposed to have anything to do with a bottle deposit. The deposit should have been $288 pesos, and the refund the same. Rick, you could have taken the bottles to Melaque and received all of your money back, even if you didn't buy them there (they represent the same brands). You know where the discount/bulk store is, half way from the bus station going toward Herradura on the south side of the street. It appears that you did get ripped off by una senora miope (thanks for that translation, I didn't know it).
