I agree with Mark:

It underplays the seriousness of your daughter's trauma to call a burglary the same thing as what befell her.

Being stolen from via any means sucks. Being stolen from after having been tied up and shot sucks a lot more. I am glad there are words so that we can make the distinction between the two.

I am sorry either of the two is happening in LM, and I hope the guilty are swiftly brought to justice.
