Hola Jon - For gutters and downspouts, we put 3" PVC from the local ferreteria on our house. With clean-outs to run a wire through (every 6 feet or so). We used two 45's to make 90 degree elbows on the downspout pipes, to make the curves more gentle on the way down to avoid clogs. Our plumber did this and it works fine, painted the same colour as the house.
