Thanks to the Bookstore from The Centro de Salud!

Finally the Centro de Salud is completely secure! Thanks to a generous cash donation of 5,000 pesos from the Bookstore.- the front door, door on the patio and the last window on the patio all have security bars, just in time for Holy Week. The lack of security is the biggest reason our doctor doesn't live onsite. This was a 3 month project and I was just about at my wits end with the local committee and their struggle to organize themselves and raise the money, when Stephanie and the Bookstore stepped in and saved the project with the cash donation. Without the donation the materials donated by Barry and Susan would still be sitting at Estephan and David’s. Keep buying those books, your money goes to help the local community! Thanks to Stephanie and the volunteers who work La Manzanilla’s only bookstore! Photo of new front door attached.
