NAN'S GOING AWAY PARTY I hope you all will come to Nan's going away party next Sat. Most of you know Nan, either from this forum, where she has shared her extraordinary knowledge of this area and/ or from her business, Sea to Sierra. Nan is moving her business to Guanajuato, and while we wished it was only her business that was moving, she feels she has to go along too. This is an open party and everyone is welcome. The bar will be no host (meaning you pay for your own drinks), but the house will supply botanas. It is a family restaurant, so you can bring whomever you want. The restaurant is also supplying the music, so bring some change to tip the musicians if you like them and a few more pesos to add to the collection to pay for Nan's drinks. Wear your dancing shoes if you are bailar-inclined (a famous Spanglish phrase, sort of like muy cool). Date: April 30th, 2011 Time - 3 - 5 pm Location: Tres Amigos Bar and Restaurant Directions: Coming into Barra, after the street is divided, look for the first left that crosses the streets and lateral. This is Nueva Espana. You will drive quite awhile (more than a dozen topes), past the new sign for the Hotel Pariaso on your right, and continue on past the Seguridad station on your left. Past the high school, take your first left. You will now be driving along the athletic field. Take the second left, at the tienda marked with the Coco Cola sign. You will see the blue sign for the botanero down the street on your right. Park where you can and join the party!!!
