Hi Helga, I have a lot of experience with this from northern California.. the ones up there have a 12 mile range so its really good to drive them far out of that area or they can and often will find their way back... good luck, the have a heart traps are wonderful... you will need to put a hook on the end of a long broom handle, point the trap away from you and flip the door open with the broom... they take off out of the trap like lightning and they also say very unpleasant things to you while they are in the trap... so distance is wise...
