having driven south in different vehicles 7 times in 10 years .and never returned one the answer varies.6 were sold 1. put vehicle in some other name.or bring another person with you when returning south & give him permission he gets new sticker... 2 go without a permit and drive straight thru the state inspection sticker checks. ballsy..but have heard blond john and others unknowingly did it. 3. get a new passport. some how it disconnects with the new number as a cross reference 4. park it in mexico...hope you never get asked about the expired sticker .. say you forgot your fm3 at home 5. when you sell it in Mexico if it relicenses it will take more than a year to clear from your name..that allows you to bring another different unit. |
