A quick read of the article say's its a good time to buy, it only speaks of a couple
of actual buyers.

dollars into U.S. dollars now, so you’re ready to move."
I don't think that is good advice, I would hang onto the Canadian dollars. Even if the
exchange rate should go down temporarily CAD is a more solid dollar.

As for real estate in La Manzanilla, it was a fairly good year, some motivated sellers
helped things along. There are a few homes just starting to be constructed.
I try to keep up with what is going on on this page there are a couple recent sales not yet listed.

There are some interesting plans for the future of La Manzanilla, absent a world financial
crisus La Manzanilla will continue to be a wonderful place to live.
