Hurricane season in the Pacific actually starts on May 15th and goes
through the end of November. I don't remember what year Katrina took
place but if you know the year, you can go to the Unisys website....

....click on that year in the Eastern Pacific data column, then look at each storm track to see how close they came to La Manzanilla.
