Good news Dobie, I admire your and others tenacity. I find it surprising that in this day and age of information that the outcome of the struggle between the Bourgeoisie and the Proletariat, (which has been going on since the beginning of time) is not recognized and compensated for. If the rich would learn from history they could avoid the revolution which leads to their demise. Unfortunately as we saw in the last financial crisis their greed is so complete that they are willing to pull the temple down upon their own heads. They can't help it, so we need to understand that and put a limit on their ability to miss create. See any of the descriptions of the English Bourgeoisie in this 1845 article apply to Villalobos. It seems like him they are talking about. http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1845/condition-working-class/ch13.htm "For it nothing exists in this world, except for the sake of money, itself not excluded. It knows no bliss save that of rapid gain, no pain save that of losing gold. In the presence of this avarice and lust of gain, it is not possible for a single human sentiment or opinion to remain untainted." "But this I maintain, the war of the poor against the rich now carried on in detail and indirectly will become direct and universal. It is too late for a peaceful solution. The classes are divided more and more sharply, the spirit of resistance penetrates the workers, the bitterness intensifies, the guerrilla skirmishes become concentrated in more important battles, and soon a slight impulse will suffice to set the avalanche in motion. Then, indeed, will the war-cry resound through the land: "War to the mansion, peace to the cottage!" – but then it will be too late for the rich to beware." |
