Real rain!

Not a lot - .18/inch - but it feels more official than the
little spritz we got on the 5th because it knocked our electricity out for hours. Don't know exactly when it went off (either during the night or early morning), but evidently at least one lightning strike took down the main cable going thru town. It was actually good to hear loud thunder and see the first lightning of the season after so many dry months. CFE arrived mid-morning and got everything up and running again a few minutes ago. The very quiet morning was only broken by the circus leaving town in some very large trucks. Aaah - summer in La Manzanilla!
