This explains it but doesn't really clarify whether ot not we'll get more rain:

The coordinates given are slightly north and to the west of
La Manz, so if we're not seeing wind and rain now, it's
probably over. Don't know about wave action as it moves
north - I guess that's still a possibility.

This really is like being in the Twilight Zone, and thanks to
Jane G., we now know why.
