Yes, Diana, it's painful to see people from this town (El Rebalsito) who never worked on the beach before, now working for Villalobos. As you can imagine they're shunned by the rest of the people here. Villalobos has promised them the moon (health care, houses, high paying jobs, etc.) and they believe him. Here's today's news: http://www.lajornadajalisco.com.mx/2011/06/24/index.php?section=politica&article=009n1pol Se entregaron títulos en predio de Rodenas porque la SRA no informó del conflicto: RAN Hard to believe that after 10 months of investigations, they still haven't delineated where exactly ARE the 42 hectares that Villalobos claims. On Wed. a family who used to live here but now lives in Guad. tried to go to the beach but were told that they couldn't go because all the beaches were closed due to hurricane warnings. The hurricane and warnings were long gone, and as far as I know no beaches around here were ever closed. |
