I had one of the best days of my life at Martin's. The women from Cuitzalapa coffee plantation had a workshop on processing and cooking with mojote. Martin graciously let us use his kitchen and restaurant. It was truly fun working together with Martin's employees pitching is as well. A wonderful musician from Guadalajara showed up with his wife, daughter and two year old grandson. Knowing he was a musician, Martin handed him a guitar and for the rest of the afternoon he entertained us with his fabulous singing and guitar playing while his grandson delighted us when he would strum his abuelo's guitar and dance. I felt so lucky to experience this joyful day. And now that Jennifer is married to Martin we are doubly lucky as they are both such friends of the animals and are helping the community in innumerable ways. Thank you!
