It's good to hear that La Manz is getting some substantial rain fall. Since we returned from La Manz to Lake Chapala on June 21, we have had over 8 inches of rain here on the lake. This not including what may turn out to be another 2+ inches today. I established a marker in the lake (which is, of course, subject to diurnal and lunar tides, which skews things somewhat), and the lake has gone up about 3 inches, it seems, during that period. I'll check again tomorrow. This is excellent news for almost all of the country, since huge crop losses due to drought were being predicted just a month ago.
