I had a response all typed out and ready to send to you Jane,
when the *&*#@ electricity went out for about the third
time today and I lost it. I'll try again. These winds are indeed from Dora but, thankfully, not anywhere near tropical storm force wind speed. Just think what we'd be experiencing today if Dora had made a little wobble to the right last night. We're very lucky that none of these exceptionally strong hurricanes so early in the rainy season have come close to us.

"From whence" has a wonderful ring to it - and Dora is definitely from whence the winds doth come.
