I can barely stand to think of that empty hammock. (We rented the house next door and grew accustomed to her company.) I need to report that I'm just back from Mt. Rushmore and that she is no longer there. I believe she was headed in an easterly direction...a float trip down the Mississippi, perhaps. We thought we caught sight of her in Hannibal. Who knows what message she is carrying bottled up inside.
