Another distant hurricane in the Pacific (5th of the season) - Eugene is now approx. 500 miles south of Manzanilla and moving west/northwest - a pretty typical August hurricane that will never come anywhere close to us:

This morning produced low, dark clouds and a spritz of rain
(.03/in.). Humidity is 74%; temperature is 84F/29C at 8:30 AM. I'm feeling pretty good about this after watching weather reports for the rest of the world.

July's statistics:

Avg. high temperature: 86.5F/30.2C
Avg. low temperature: 77F/25c

Avg. high humidity: 84.7% (!!)
Avg. low humidity: 72.9%

Total rainfall: 12.19 inches - 2nd highest total since 2004
