Hi Dan,

I went to http://boomersabroad.com and entered the authors name http://boomersabroad.com/component/search/Michael%2BZenn.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all - Michael Zenn and did not find an article titled "Mexico Safer Than??" but did find a lot of articles about Mexico written by him on a regular basis. I did a search for http://boomersabroad.com/component/search/Mexico%2BSafer%2BThan.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all - Mexico Safer Than - on the same site and did not find the article. I put the first line of the article you posted into Google and came up with this In the first article by Banderas News I found a link to the article you quoted, it was titled http://www.boomersabroad.com/component/content/article/41/1583.html - Americans Moving to Mexico in Droves

So who is Michael Zenn and why is he writing so many positive articles on Mexico? Where are the links to prove his findings? I am pretty sure this is him and as he states in his profile he is a full time investor.

I am not saying his take on things is false, being a Realtor dealing with the Tenacatita invalid titles situation we need all the help we can get. A quick search of - http://www.boomersabroad.com/component/search/Tenacatita.html?ordering=&searchphrase=all - his blog for Tenacatita got one hit talking about La Manzanilla on the Bay of Tenacatita and a search of his investment website does not even have one mention of the Tenacatita.

If there is one thing I am becoming aware of faster than anything it is the pervasiveness of conformation bias and cognitive dissonance, mostly in applying those two very important terms to my own life and coming to realize that this is not only something others do it is something I do and it needs to be addressed by me and taken into consideration when anyone gives you their take on things, all the way from your best friend to the president of countries.

When we have a Mexico based website that covers all of the stories, both good and bad, then we have a source that may be worth a listen.
