Hurricane Greg and Tropical Storm Fernanda are both headed off to Hawaii with literally no chance of affecting our
weather again. Both are located directly within the monsoon trough:

A quick, hard rain early last night produced only .15/inch -
August total is now 3.51 inches. Morning weather reports predict no more rain today, and a high overcast is burning off as I write this.


I finally got a good picture of the spectacular August 15th
fireworks but I'm having trouble downloading it to the
message board - will try again later.
