August 15th fireworks....

Had to downsize these before they'd load so hope they come out larger than the last ones I posted (may have to do those over too). That was a wonderful crowd on the last day of the fiesta for La Manzanilla's patron saint, Maria Asuncion. I don't remember ever seeing so many people in the plaza before - all strolling, eating, laughing and patiently waiting for the big fireworks display which didn't start until after 11:30. It was a good one though! Don't know why the first two pics came out smaller - this whole thing is waaay too technical for me. The carnival has left town and this is now a very quiet little puebla, except when Mother Nature decides to put on a show. Last night brought a little rain - .25/inch, but it wasn't at all exciting. Maybe tonight.
